Biography
He is an Sandalwood (Kannada Film Industry) Actor, Director & Producer. He is known for his negative roles at the beginning of his carrier. But, later he became star actor who acted in many movies as lead hero. He appeared in around 450 movies.
He was born in Pulikeshinagara, Bengaluru (Karnataka, India).
Prabhakar had met with a bike accident in the mid-1980s, the injuries sustained from which took a toll on his health. Following this, in the early 2000s, he suffered from multiple organ dysfunction syndrome. Owing to these illness, he died in Mallya Hospital in Bangalore at 9:45 p.m. on 25 March 2001.
Family
He married Alphonza Mary, Jayamala (Kannada actress) and Anju Prabhakar. He has 5 children from these marriages. Vinod Prabhakar (Kannada actor), Soundarya Jayamala (Kannada actress), Arjun Prabhakar, Geetha Prabhakar, Bharathi Prabhakar.
