Mohan and Sheela are in love, but due to circumstances Mohan ends up marrying Leela. After several years Sheela lands up in jail on charges of murdering her husband. Mohan will be defending her in court and has to argue against his wife Leela, who is the public prosecutor.The rift caused between Mohan and Leela form the rest of the plot.
