The story of the horror movie Shivalinga revolves around CID officer Shiva who is married to an adventurous girl Sathya. Elsewhere, a man named Raheem is found dead and it is deemed as a suicide case. However, Raheem’s fiancee, Sangeetha refuses to believe so and demands CID Shiva to investigate on the matter. As Shiva is assigned to the case, he moves to a new house near the cemetery with his wife. Sathya starts seeing a child in the house, but Shiva ridicules her claims. Shiva suspects that Sangeetha’s father might be involved in Raheem’s murder and goes to investigate it. Meanwhile, Sathya’s behaviour changes and she starts acting unlike herself. This sets off people to suspect on her. Shiva finds that Raheem’s soul has possessed Sathya and demands Shiva to solve his murder case and only then will he leave his wife. Will Shiva be able to protect his wife? Who killed Raheem? Has it got to do something with Shiva and Sathya?
