The films deals with the life of a rural Shehnai artiste Appannna (Rajkumar). Entire village witness the melody and dances to the magical tunes of Appannna's clarinet (Shenai), Bhasanti falls in love with Appanna. However, the story takes a twist when Appanna loses his wife, and tries to raise his son without his wife. Finally, Appanna plays Shehnai to save his grand child life. Will he able to save his grand child's life? on what cost?.
