Tagaru follows the life of merciless police officer Shiva being played by Shiva Rajkumar, who is set on his path to finish all the criminals from the society and restore peace. Shiva is in pursuit of killing a heartless and cruel gangster Dolly being played by Dhananjay while also working on investigation for a series of murder and certain unexpected circumstances begin to happen. While the cop Shiva is busy getting rid of the wrongdoers of the society, somebody is falling in love with him, a girl named Punarvasu being played by Manvitha Kamath.
